A road trip around MLB, all season long on the ESPN Baseball Tonight Podcast

2020, a year like no other. But we knew that. On March 4 I began a road trip around MLB with Buster Olney, every week, on the ESPN Baseball Tonight Podcast. We talked stadiums, old and new, from coast to coast, north to south, and we even got ourselves a surprise bonus ballpark, in Buffalo. One week after we started this weekly journey, on March 11, our worlds really began to change. This was the day that we talked about Nationals Park in Washington DC—but it was also the day that the pandemic was officially declared to be an official global pandemic. A pivot point of historic consequence, that day the financial markets cratered, the NBA suspended its season after player Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus, and we collectively began to hunker down. Over the next seven months we traveled virtually, together, from the safety of our own homes. As we look forward to better times, here are links to each episode.
